Pastor's Corner...

      New beginnings, fresh starts, refocus, realignment of priorities-those are all the right words of retrospect as we begin a new year.  We want to be better, we desire to do better.  Why is it so hard to follow through with our good intentions?  Could it be an imbalance of our trust in God to do it for us, and the discipline of our own self effort?  There are times when we need to step back and let God fight the battles.  There are other times He equips us with the necessaary gear and says, "now, step to the front of the line and fight the good fight of faith."  The key is balance.  Trusting and trying, putting on the full armor of faith to fight courageously.  "God, keep us totally dependent on You and motivated to give our best every day to live life for Your glory."
