Pastor's Corner...    

Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do.  Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.”  That is a challenge that sometimes we, as Christians, fail to incorporate into our daily walk with Christ.  Paul said, “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14)  The habit of perseverance draws us into a daily effort of faithfulness so we can resist the temptation of laziness.  It is a purposed focus to keep Christ first, to stay actively passionate about His cause, to pursue a holy, obedient demeanor, and to keep loving Him with our whole being.  Then the people around us will take note that “we have been with Jesus.”
